Bridges Consulting, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Chuck Faughnan Sr., after a long and successful career with the Intelligence Community.
“Senior,” as he’s called, set the foundation for the company through a strong work ethic, an innate understanding of the customer’s needs—and an unquestionable dedication to the mission. From that foundation he started building “BRIDGES”: bridges to the intelligence community; bridges to strategic partners and fellow IC enablers; bridges to a strong, dedicated work force; “BRIDGES to Mission Success”—for everyone involved.
Now with over 15 years as both a prime and sub contractor, serving customers in Cyber Engineering, Cyber Operations and Advisory Services, Bridges Consulting, Inc., its management team and its “mission-proven people” has earned  its own reputation in the market as a trusted partner to the Intelligence Community—and it’s one that makes Senior proud.

BRIDGES’ management team has a certain set of expectations in and around supporting our customers and our teaming partners in achieving mission success: “There’s only one way to do things: the right way.” And with this as our guiding principle, we’ve managed to develop a company of experienced, mission-tested professionals who don’t need to be shown the right way…because they live it.

Chuck Faughnan Sr.
From 1997 to 2000, “Senior” consulted with DoD, contractors and educational clients, in executive coaching, strategic planning, program management and acquisition. He started BRIDGES in 2000, growing it from two people to over 100. From 1965 to 1997, he had various leadership positions in the IC, retiring as an Associate Deputy Director. He served in Europe and Asia. Chuck has a B.A. in Business and Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of the National Defense University, Intelligence Community Fellows Program and the Federal Executive Institute.

Chuck Faughnan III
Chief Executive Officer

Chuck is the Chief Executive Officer at BRIDGES. He has over 15 years of executive level experience and more than twenty five years of experience in systems engineering, architecture, operations, program management and Information Technology implementation and operations. Chuck joined BRIDGES in 2004. As CEO, he oversees strategy, finance and operations for BRIDGES.
Prior to BRIDGES, Chuck was a Director and Program Manager responsible for delivering IT outsourcing solutions at PEC Solutions (now Nortel Government Solutions). He is an expert in IT Infrastructures and has certifications in ITIL, CMMI, PMP and Enterprise Management tools. Chuck holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Telecommunications and Computers from George Washington University.
Brian Dahlheimer
Chief Visionary Officer

Brian joined BRIDGES in 2003, becoming a partner in 2004. He started his professional career in the IC at Fort Meade in 1984 supporting the telecommunications, LAN and computer engineering shop. Since then, he has worked as a project lead on several programs and in several senior management positions. His work has included extensive travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites, integrating and validating small-to-large-scale systems. In addition to the Government, he has worked for Advanced Computer Communications, Lockheed Martin (Ford Aerospace/Loral/Lockheed Martin), Applied Signal Technology (now Raytheon), and AT&T Government Solutions. Brian holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, University College.

Rick Villareal
Chief Operating Officer
Rick joined BRIDGES in 2007. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees a portfolio of services, providing Cyber Security Engineering & Operations, Acquisition & Program Management, Systems Engineering, and IT Service Management support. Prior to BRIDGES, Rick was a Senior Consultant for IBM and a Technical Delivery Manager for EDS (now HP) in various technical leadership and management roles. He is highly experienced in large-scale enterprise-level programs. He has a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy. Rick devoted more than 20 years in the Defense Industry, and continues to serve as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
